Sessions

Our program is broken down into 3 sessions.  Each session requires a separate sign-up and tuition.  This enables parents to design a program that suits their budget and individual scheduling needs.

SCHOOL YEAR SESSION

Begins the Wednesday before Labor Day and ends early/mid June.

Families enrolled in our school year session are given the first option of enrolling in our summer session.

Families not wishing to reserve a spot in our summer session will not lose their spot for the following school year session.

VACATION CAMPS

Available when school is closed for the Christmas holidays, February break and April break.

Vacation camp days are only available as an option for those attending our school year session.

SUMMER SESSION

Offered mid/late June - mid August (8 weeks)

Priority is given to 0-5-year-olds reserving the same weekly schedule for the entire 8-week session.

Those wishing to only reserve occasional days or weeks throughout the summer may do so if space allows.

If space permits, alumni and/or school aged siblings may also attend.

(See Below)

Swim Lessons

We offer one-on-one swim lessons in our on-site in-ground pool during our summer session. Lessons are offered by a certified lifeguard or WSI certified instructor.

These lessons are ideal for encouraging the reluctant swimmer and for parents who feel their child would not receive satisfactory supervision in a group lesson.

Since the lessons can be scheduled to occur while your child is here during our summer session, they are also convenient for our working parents.

These lessons are available for all ability levels (no diving) and your child does not need to be enrolled in our summer session to sign-up for swim lessons.

However, swimmers must be 100% potty trained to participate.

The fee is $30 per 25-minute lesson. All Dorset residents will receive $10 off each lesson (courtesy of the town).

Dorset's summer scholarship can also be used to cover the cost of these lessons for Dorset residents.

(See Financial Assistance section.)

Afterschool

We do not normally accept afterschool children due to a lack of space. However, we will occasionally accept older siblings of currently enrolled

children when space allows.  This would be at our regular hourly rate.  If you qualify, subsidy usually covers this cost.

Those children attending the Dorset School can be dropped off here by the bus.

Summer Session

The campers participate in many fun-filled activities throughout the week, including arts/crafts, science experiments, music, projects, games, songs, stories, puppetry,

role playing, cooking (Foody Fridays), field trips, visitors, etc.  Daily water activities help to defray the heat, including a large water slide, sprinklers,

wading pools, a large splash pad, reuseable water balloons, water balls, squirt tubes, and a mud kitchen.

Each child brings a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen each day since much time is spent outside.
